About this product
Digital Display Handheld Folding Fan.
A bladeless, foldable personal fan with a built-in digital display showing battery level and current speed in real time — 120 adjustable speed gears, a 4,000–6,000mAh battery, and up to 12 hours of runtime. At 120g and 59×173mm folded, it carries in any bag or pocket. USB rechargeable. Available in White, Purple, and Black.
The built-in digital display is the feature that distinguishes this fan from standard handheld fans. It shows two pieces of information simultaneously: remaining battery level (as a percentage or indicator) and the current speed setting. The practical value of the battery display is that it removes the uncertainty that comes with all battery-powered devices — the question of how much charge is left before the fan dies. With a display, you can check the battery before leaving the house, during a long day out, or before a commute, and make an informed decision about whether to recharge. Without a display, battery depletion is a surprise: the fan simply slows and stops. The speed display adds a second layer of information: with 120 speed gears available, knowing which gear you are currently on allows precise adjustment up or down rather than cycling through settings blind. The combination of both on a small screen makes the fan materially more usable than an equivalent product without a display, particularly for regular everyday carry where battery management is part of the routine.
Most handheld fans offer three speed settings: low, medium, and high. The digital display folding fan offers 120 discrete speed gears, which means the airflow output can be dialled in with a level of precision that standard fans cannot match. The practical difference is most noticeable at the extremes: on the lowest settings, the airflow is a barely perceptible whisper — enough to provide gentle cooling without generating the noise or disruption of a higher setting, suitable for use in quiet environments such as offices, libraries, or public transport. On the highest settings, the output is at maximum for the fan’s motor capacity, providing meaningful cooling in hot outdoor conditions. The 118 steps between those two extremes allow the user to find the exact output that matches their current environment and preference, and to adjust incrementally as conditions change. This is particularly useful during outdoor events where temperature and shade conditions change throughout the day, or during commutes where the crowding and airflow of a carriage varies between stops.
The bladeless design means there are no exposed rotating blades in the airflow path. This has three practical consequences. The first is safety: a bladeless fan can be held near the face, used in crowded environments, or used around children without the risk of contact injury that exists with bladed fans. The second is noise: bladeless fans generate less mechanical noise than equivalent bladed fans at comparable airflow outputs, making the fan more suitable for quiet environments — an office, a library, a quiet train carriage — where a loud bladed fan would be conspicuous. The third is cleanliness: without blades to accumulate dust and debris, the airflow output remains consistent over time without requiring blade cleaning, and the fan does not project trapped dust into the air during use. For everyday carry and regular use, the combination of safety, quietness, and low maintenance makes the bladeless design a meaningful practical advantage over conventional handheld fan designs.
At 120g and folding to 59×173mm, the fan fits into the side pocket of a handbag, a jacket pocket, a backpack, or a small festival pouch without adding meaningful weight or bulk to the load. The folding mechanism reduces the fan to its most compact footprint for carry and unfolds to its working configuration in a single movement. The 4,000–6,000mAh battery provides 8–12 hours of runtime depending on the speed setting used, which means a single full charge covers a full day of intermittent use across a commute, a working day, and an evening out without needing to recharge mid-day. The USB recharging means the fan tops up from any phone charger, laptop, or power bank using a standard cable. Three colour options — White, Purple, Black — allow the fan to be chosen to match a personal bag or daily-carry aesthetic rather than defaulting to a generic product colour.
- Charge before first use: connect via the USB charging cable to any USB power source and charge fully. The display will show charging status. A full charge from empty typically takes 2–4 hours depending on the charger output.
- Unfold: open the fan to its working position. The fan is designed to be held in one hand during use.
- Power on: press the power button to turn the fan on. The digital display will illuminate showing the current battery level and speed setting.
- Adjust speed: use the speed button to increase or decrease airflow across the 120 available speed gears. Increase one step at a time for precise adjustment or hold the button to cycle faster.
- Check battery: glance at the display to see the current battery level at any time during use. Recharge before the battery reaches a low level to avoid unexpected shutdown.
- Fold for carry: power off and fold the fan flat before placing in a bag or pocket.
- Daily commuters: a compact, bladeless, quiet fan that fits in a pocket and lasts a full day. The display confirms battery before departure so there are no surprises mid-journey.
- Festival and outdoor event attendees: 8–12 hours of runtime covers a full festival day without recharging. 120 speed gears match airflow to conditions throughout the day.
- Office and desk workers: a quiet bladeless fan for personal cooling at a desk without the noise of a conventional desk fan. Folds away at the end of the day.
- Travellers: lightweight, compact, and USB rechargeable — works with any phone charger or laptop USB. Three colour options suit any travel aesthetic.
- Gift buyers: a well-specified personal fan with a distinguishing feature (the display) that sets it apart from standard handheld fans — a practical and considered gift at an accessible price point. Available in three colours.
What does the digital display actually show?
The display shows two things simultaneously: the current battery level (so you know how much charge remains) and the current speed setting (so you know which of the 120 gears you are running at). Both update in real time as you adjust speed or as the battery depletes.
Is bladeless the same as no airflow?
No — bladeless refers to the absence of exposed rotating blades in the airflow path, not the absence of a mechanism generating airflow. The fan uses an internal motor to draw air in and project it out through the ring or nozzle opening. The airflow is smooth and consistent rather than the pulsing airflow of a conventional bladed fan. At equivalent speed settings, airflow output is comparable; the advantage of bladeless is safety, quietness, and cleanliness rather than higher airflow output.
How many speed gears do I actually need?
Most users will settle into a preferred range across the 120 gears — a few low settings for quiet environments and a few higher settings for hot conditions. The 120 gears are not intended to be cycled through manually one by one but to allow very fine incremental adjustment. If you want slightly more airflow than your current setting, a single step up gives a barely perceptible increase; five steps gives a more noticeable change. This granularity is useful for dialling in comfort precisely rather than jumping between three fixed settings as on a standard fan.
How long does a full charge take?
Charging time depends on the output of the charger used. With a standard 5V/1A USB charger, a full charge from empty typically takes 2–4 hours. A higher-output charger (2A or above) will reduce charging time. The display or an indicator light will show when charging is complete.
Can I use it while it’s charging?
This depends on the specific unit. Many USB fans can be used while connected to a charger, which effectively extends runtime indefinitely when a power source is available. Check the product packaging for confirmation of pass-through charging capability.
Is it safe to use around children?
The bladeless design means there are no exposed rotating blades, which removes the primary contact injury risk of conventional fans. The fan is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of very young children, but the bladeless design makes it significantly safer than a bladed fan in environments where children are present.
- Wipe the exterior and display screen with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents on the display surface.
- Keep the air intake and outlet openings clear of dust and debris. Use a dry soft brush or a puff of compressed air to clean intake areas periodically, particularly if the fan is used outdoors or in dusty environments.
- Do not expose to water. The fan contains electronics and a lithium battery that are not waterproof.
- Check the folding hinge periodically for debris or obstruction. Fold and unfold with a smooth, even motion — do not force the hinge if resistance is felt, as debris in the hinge mechanism can damage it if forced.
- Store in a dry location, folded flat, preferably in a pouch or case to protect the display and body from scratches during carry.
- Recharge before storing for an extended period. Avoid storing with a fully depleted battery for months at a time.
“A personal fan should tell you exactly what it’s doing — how much battery is left, what speed you’re on — and fold away the moment you don’t need it.”
