01 Ceramic Heating — Fast, Even, and Energy-Efficient

The ceramic heating element reaches operating temperature faster than a conventional wire element and distributes heat more evenly across the airflow — warming a small room quickly without the hot spots and cold zones that a single-point radiant heater produces. Ceramic elements also maintain a consistent output temperature without the energy waste of cycling on and off at full power, which is what gives a ceramic heater its efficiency advantage over a basic fan heater at the same wattage.

02 Wall-Mountable — Frees Up Floor Space Entirely

The wall-mount design keeps the heater off the floor entirely, freeing up the limited floor space in a dormitory room, small bedroom, or studio flat where a floor-standing heater would be an obstacle — also positioning the warm airflow at a height that circulates heat more effectively through the room than a floor-level unit. A wall-mounted heater is also safer in a small room with children or pets, as it removes the trip hazard and contact risk of a floor-standing unit.

03 Intelligent Temperature Control — Maintains Comfort Automatically

The infrared sensor monitors the ambient temperature and adjusts the heating output automatically to maintain the set level — preventing the room from overheating when the target temperature is reached, and avoiding the manual adjustment cycle of a basic heater that either runs at full power or switches off completely. The result is a room that stays at the set temperature rather than oscillating between too warm and too cold as the heater cycles.

04 8-Hour Timer — Set It Before Bed

The built-in timer runs for more than 8 hours, allowing the heater to be set before sleep and switch off automatically without requiring manual intervention during the night — practical for bedroom and dormitory use where running a heater all night wastes energy and a heater that stops too early leaves the room cold by morning. The timer also enables the heater to be set to warm a room before waking up, switching on in advance of the alarm.

MountingWall-Mountable · Portable
  • Wall mounting: select a wall position at shoulder height or above, within reach of a 220V socket, and clear of curtains, furniture, or any flammable material. Use the mounting bracket included with the unit — fix the bracket to the wall using appropriate fixings for the wall type (plasterboard, masonry, or stud), then hang the heater on the bracket. The 1-metre power cord determines the maximum distance from the socket.
  • Portable use: the heater can also be used as a portable floor or surface unit without wall mounting — place on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface and ensure the front grille has at least 30 cm clearance from any object, wall, or surface to allow adequate airflow and prevent heat build-up at the outlet.
  • Plug compatibility: the heater ships with a US standard plug. For use in the UK or EU, a plug adapter or rewired plug is required. Verify that the local supply voltage (UK: 230V, EU: 220–230V) is compatible with the heater’s rated voltage before use. Most 220V appliances operate correctly on a 230V supply, but this should be confirmed before first use.
  • Clearance requirements: maintain at least 50 cm clearance above and to the sides of the unit when wall-mounted, and do not place any object directly in front of the outlet grille. Do not mount in a bathroom, laundry room, or any location exposed to moisture or steam.
Wall mounting requires basic DIY capability and appropriate fixings for the wall type. If in doubt about the wall structure or fixing method, consult a professional before mounting. The heater must be mounted on a vertical wall surface only — do not mount on a ceiling or at an angle.
  • Timer: set the timer to the required duration before switching on the heater — the timer counts down from the set duration and switches the heater off automatically when it reaches zero. For overnight use, set the timer to match the number of hours of heating required after going to sleep; the heater will switch off without requiring any intervention.
  • Temperature control: set the target temperature using the controls on the unit — the infrared sensor monitors the ambient room temperature and adjusts the heating output to maintain the set level. When the room reaches the target temperature, the heater reduces output rather than switching off entirely, maintaining the temperature without the sharp cycling of a basic thermostat.
  • Airflow speed: use a lower speed for quiet overnight heating and a higher speed for faster initial room warm-up — the 3-speed setting covers the range from near-silent low-speed operation (36 dB) to the faster airflow of the high setting (45 dB). Start on high to warm the room quickly, then reduce to low once the target temperature is reached.
  • Pre-wake heating: the timer can also be used in reverse — set the heater to switch on at a specific time before waking up by calculating the time between sleep and the desired warm-up time and setting the timer accordingly. The room will be warm when the alarm goes off without the heater running all night.
The infrared sensor is most accurate when the heater has been running for at least 10 minutes and the room is at a stable temperature. In the first few minutes of operation the sensor may read a lower temperature than the actual ambient as the room warms from cold — this is normal and will stabilise.
  • Dormitory and student accommodation: the primary use case — a compact, wall-mountable heater for a single room where floor space is limited, the existing heating is inadequate, and a portable plug-in solution is needed without a large footprint. The timer means it can be left to run without supervision and the 10m² coverage is appropriate for a standard single dormitory room.
  • Small bedrooms and studio flats: any small room where a floor-standing heater would be an obstacle or where wall mounting is preferred for safety or tidiness. The quiet low-speed operation (36 dB) makes it suitable for overnight use in a bedroom without disturbing sleep.
  • Home offices: a compact supplementary heater for a home office or study that is not adequately heated by the central system — the intelligent temperature control maintains a consistent working temperature without requiring manual adjustment during the day.
  • As a gift: a practical winter gift for a student, a first-time renter, or anyone moving into a new space without adequate heating. The wall-mount option, timer, and smart temperature control are features that differentiate it from a basic plug-in fan heater at the same price point.
Suitable for rooms up to 10m². Not suitable as a primary heat source for larger rooms — in a room above 10m² the heater will run continuously without reaching or maintaining the target temperature. For larger spaces, use as a supplementary heat source alongside the existing heating system.
  • Keep the front grille clear of obstruction at all times during operation — do not place clothing, towels, or any fabric in front of the heater outlet. A blocked grille causes heat build-up that can damage the unit and presents a fire risk.
  • Do not operate in a bathroom, laundry, or any damp environment — the heater is not rated for wet or humid locations. Keep away from sinks, showers, and any source of moisture.
  • Switch off and unplug when not in use for extended periods — the timer provides automatic shut-off for daily use, but the heater should be unplugged when leaving accommodation for more than a day.
  • Clean the grille and vents periodically with a soft, dry cloth or a low-power vacuum to remove dust accumulation — dust build-up on the heating element reduces efficiency and increases the risk of overheating. Do not use water or liquid cleaners on any part of the heater.
  • The heater surface becomes hot during operation — keep children and pets away from the unit during use, particularly if using as a portable floor unit rather than wall-mounted. Wall mounting significantly reduces the contact risk.
This heater is fitted with overheat protection that switches the unit off if the internal temperature exceeds safe limits. If the heater switches off unexpectedly, allow it to cool for 15 minutes before switching on again. If the problem recurs, check that the grille is unobstructed and that the unit has adequate clearance on all sides.
Warm. Quiet. Automatic.

“A floor-standing heater that takes up space, a fixed unit that requires installation, and a basic fan heater with no temperature control — a compact wall-mountable ceramic heater with an 8-hour timer and infrared sensor control heats a small room efficiently without any of those compromises.
