LED Eye-Care Clip Light.
A 24W LED clip-on desk light with wireless remote control dimming, CRI ≥90 eye-protection output, and a metal shade in a light luxury finish — Black. ≤36V, outlet powered. Available with European, US, or UK adapter. Built for reading, studying, writing, and screen work.
A colour rendering index of 90 or above produces light that is closer to natural daylight — reducing eye strain during long reading, writing, or screen sessions compared to lower-CRI lamps that distort colour and cause fatigue over time.
The wireless remote control adjusts brightness and colour temperature from the desk without reaching for the lamp — the convenience that makes the difference between a light that adapts to the task and one that stays at a fixed setting all day.
The clip-on mount attaches to a desk edge, shelf, or monitor without taking up surface space — the mounting solution that keeps the desk clear for work while positioning the light exactly where it is needed for reading or screen use.
The metal shade in a light luxury finish looks intentional on a premium desk setup — the material and aesthetic that makes a functional clip light feel like a considered piece of desk furniture rather than a utility accessory.
- Attach the clip to a desk edge, shelf lip, or monitor top with a thickness of approximately 1–4 cm for a secure hold. Do not clamp to surfaces wider than the clip’s maximum opening — forcing the clip beyond its range can damage the clamping mechanism or the surface it is attached to.
- Position the light so the shade directs light onto the work surface at an angle — avoid pointing the light directly toward the eyes, which can cause glare even at lower brightness settings.
- For screen work, angle the shade so the light illuminates the desk area rather than the screen directly. Reflected glare on a monitor surface can increase eye strain even with a high-CRI light source.
- Route the power cable away from the desk surface where possible using a cable clip or tie to keep the desk clear and reduce the risk of the cable pulling the light out of position.
- Check that the clip is fully tightened and stable before leaving the light unattended. A poorly secured clip on a sloped or curved surface can cause the light to fall and damage the shade or the surface below.
- Use the wireless remote to adjust brightness and colour temperature from the desk without needing to reach the lamp. Point the remote toward the lamp’s receiver and press briefly — holding the button down adjusts the setting continuously.
- If the remote becomes unresponsive, check that the remote battery is charged or replace it. Keep the remote away from direct sunlight and sources of radio frequency interference that can reduce range or responsiveness.
- For reading and close document work, a warmer colour temperature (lower Kelvin) at medium brightness tends to reduce glare and produce a more comfortable reading light. For screen work and detail tasks, a cooler, brighter setting improves contrast and visual acuity.
- Store the remote in a consistent location on the desk — it is a small item that is easily misplaced, and the lamp cannot be dimmed without it.
- Switch off and unplug the lamp before cleaning. Allow the shade and LED panel to cool fully before touching — although LED lamps run cooler than halogen or incandescent, the shade and LED housing can become warm during extended use.
- Wipe the metal shade with a soft, dry or barely damp microfibre cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. Do not use abrasive cloths, chemical cleaners, or solvents — these can damage the light luxury finish on the metal shade over time.
- Clean the LED panel surface with a dry, soft cloth only. Do not apply liquid directly to the LED panel or the internal components of the shade.
- Dust the clip mechanism periodically to keep the clamping surfaces clean and functioning smoothly. A build-up of dust and debris on the clip pads can reduce grip over time.
- Do not attempt to disassemble the shade, LED unit, or clip mechanism. The internal components are not user-serviceable and disassembly will void any applicable warranty.
- Select the adapter that matches the wall outlet standard in your country — European (Type C/E/F), US (Type A), or UK (Type G). Using the wrong adapter with a converter is possible but not recommended — a correctly matched plug is the simplest and safest configuration.
- The lamp operates at ≤36V via the supplied adapter. Do not connect the lamp to a mains supply directly without the included adapter, and do not substitute a different adapter not rated for this lamp.
- If travelling internationally, the adapter variant you ordered is fixed — you will need a plug travel adapter to use the lamp in a country with a different socket standard. The lamp itself operates within the voltage range standard in both European and US/UK markets.
- Do not use the lamp with an extension lead that is fully coiled — a coiled cable under load can overheat. Unroll extension leads fully before use.
“A desk lamp that strains the eyes after an hour, a dimmer that requires getting up to adjust, and a light that looks cheap on a premium desk — a 24W LED clip light with CRI ≥90, wireless remote dimming, and a metal light luxury shade solves all three.”
