Type C / E / F

For use in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan and countries using the two-flat-pin standard. Confirm your local socket type before ordering.

For use in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and countries using the three-pin rectangular standard. The correct adapter for all UK wall outlets.
Setup and clip positioning
- Attach the clip to a desk edge, shelf lip or monitor top with a thickness of approximately 1–4 cm for a secure hold. Do not clamp to surfaces wider than the clip’s maximum opening — forcing the clip beyond its range can damage the clamping mechanism or the surface.
- Position the shade to direct light onto the work surface at an angle — avoid pointing the light directly toward the eyes, which can cause glare even at lower brightness settings.
- For screen work, angle the shade to illuminate the desk area rather than the screen directly. Reflected glare on a monitor surface increases eye strain even with a high-CRI light source.
- Route the power cable away from the desk surface using a cable clip or tie to keep the desk clear and prevent the cable pulling the light out of position.
- Check the clip is fully tightened and stable before leaving the light unattended. A poorly secured clip on a sloped or curved surface can cause the light to fall and damage the shade or surface below.
Remote control and dimming
- Use the wireless remote to adjust brightness and colour temperature from the desk without reaching the lamp. Point the remote toward the lamp’s receiver and press briefly — holding the button adjusts the setting continuously.
- If the remote becomes unresponsive, check or replace the remote battery. Keep it away from direct sunlight and sources of radio frequency interference.
- For reading and close document work, a warmer colour temperature at medium brightness tends to reduce glare and produce a more comfortable reading light. For screen work and detail tasks, a cooler, brighter setting improves contrast and visual acuity.
- Store the remote in a consistent location on the desk — it is a small item easily misplaced, and the lamp cannot be dimmed without it.
Adapter and power guidance
- Select the adapter that matches the wall outlet standard in your country — European (Type C/E/F), US (Type A) or UK (Type G). A correctly matched plug is the simplest and safest configuration.
- The lamp operates at ≤36V via the supplied adapter. Do not connect the lamp to a mains supply directly without the included adapter, and do not substitute a different adapter not rated for this lamp.
- If travelling internationally, you will need a plug travel adapter to use the lamp in a country with a different socket standard.
- Do not use the lamp with an extension lead that is fully coiled — a coiled cable under load can overheat. Unroll extension leads fully before use.
If the lamp does not power on, check the wall outlet is live, the adapter is fully inserted, and the cable connection between adapter and lamp is secure before assuming a fault.
Cleaning and care
- Switch off and unplug before cleaning. Allow the shade and LED panel to cool fully before touching — the shade and housing can become warm during extended use.
- Wipe the metal shade with a soft, dry or barely damp microfibre cloth. Do not use abrasive cloths, chemical cleaners or solvents — these can damage the light luxury finish.
- Clean the LED panel surface with a dry, soft cloth only. Do not apply liquid directly to the LED panel or internal components.
- Dust the clip mechanism periodically to keep the clamping surfaces clean and functioning. A build-up of dust on the clip pads reduces grip over time.
- Do not attempt to disassemble the shade, LED unit or clip mechanism. Internal components are not user-serviceable.
Always unplug from the wall outlet before cleaning or repositioning the lamp. Do not operate with a damaged cable, plug or shade.
