Non-Slip Surface — Stays in Place Without Adhesive

- Measure the shelf, drawer, or compartment you want to line — length and width. Note which dimension needs trimming; in most cases the width is the critical fit and the length can be left slightly long and tucked against the back wall of the cabinet or drawer.
- Lay the mat flat on a cutting surface and mark the cut line with a pen or by folding the mat to the required width before cutting along the fold — the mat material cuts cleanly with household scissors in a single pass. No ruler required for most cuts; a straight fold gives a sufficiently clean edge for a liner application.
- Place the cut mat in the shelf or drawer with the non-slip side facing down — the textured side grips the surface beneath. Press flat and the mat will settle into position without adhesive. Items placed on top hold it down further.
- Use the offcuts from trimming larger surfaces to line smaller compartments — the pieces cut from a shelf-width trim are often the right size for a refrigerator egg tray, a small drawer, or a cupboard shelf without any further cutting needed.
- For refrigerator use, cut to fit each compartment separately — the clear colour variants (Transparent Green and Clear Blue) are particularly well-suited to refrigerator use as they do not obscure the contents of the shelf underneath.
The mat is designed to be cut by the user — if the edges of the cut look rough after the first pass, a second clean cut along the same line with sharp scissors will produce a clean finish. The non-slip surface does not fray or unravel at cut edges.
- Lift the mat out of the shelf or drawer and rinse under warm running water to remove food residue, spills, and dust — the non-slip surface and anti-fouling material clean easily under a tap without scrubbing for most everyday soiling.
- For stubborn stains or dried food residue, soak in warm soapy water for a few minutes before rinsing — the mat material is unaffected by standard household dish soap and the soak time softens dried residue for easy removal without abrasive scrubbing.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry before replacing in the shelf or drawer — replacing a wet mat traps moisture against the shelf surface, which is the opposite of the protection the liner is intended to provide. A few minutes air-drying on a dish rack is sufficient.
- The mat can be cleaned as often as needed — the material is designed for repeated washing and the non-slip properties are not affected by regular rinsing or soaking. Clean whenever the mat surface looks soiled rather than waiting for a scheduled deep-clean.
The mat is not dishwasher safe — high-temperature dishwasher cycles may warp or discolour the material. Hand rinse only. Do not use bleach-based cleaners on the transparent coloured mats as prolonged contact with bleach may affect the colour.

Use the clear colour variants for refrigerator shelves to maintain visibility of the contents beneath.
- Drawers: line kitchen drawers that hold utensils, cutlery, or dry goods — the non-slip texture keeps items in position when the drawer is opened and closed, reducing the shuffling and tangling that occurs in an unlined drawer.
- Pantry and storage shelves: line pantry shelves and storage cabinet bases to protect surfaces from the base of tins, bottles, and boxes that accumulate rust rings and food residue over time. The mat takes the staining and is rinsed; the shelf underneath stays clean.

A practical choice for anyone who wants the liner to be clearly visible and easy to locate when replacing or cleaning.
- Transparent Green: a mid-visibility option — the green tint is noticeable without being as bold as the red. Well-suited to pantry and storage shelves where a light colour accent is acceptable and the liner does not need to be invisible. The variant most recently restocked if availability varies.
- Clear Blue: the most neutral of the three — the blue tint is subtle on most shelf surfaces and the most appropriate choice for refrigerator use where the contents of the shelf need to remain clearly visible through the liner. Also the best choice for light-coloured or white cabinet interiors where a stronger colour tint would be visually prominent.
