Aluminium Foil Kitchen Wall Sticker

• Clean the wall surface thoroughly and allow it to dry completely before applying — any grease, dust or moisture will prevent the adhesive from bonding properly.
• Measure the area to be covered and cut the roll to length using scissors or a craft knife and ruler for a straight edge.
• Peel back a small section of the backing paper and align the sticker to the top of the surface before committing to the full application.
• Slowly peel the backing away while pressing the foil flat against the wall, working from top to bottom and smoothing as you go to prevent air bubbles.
• Use a flat card or squeegee to press firmly along the surface and push out any trapped air from the centre outward to the edges.
• Trim any excess at the edges with a craft knife for a clean finish along worktops, sockets or cabinet edges.

The sticker adheres to most smooth, non-porous surfaces including painted walls, tiles, glass, MDF and laminate. Not recommended for textured, rough or unpainted plaster surfaces.

• Standard hob splashback — 1 m or 2 m is sufficient for most single-hob installations.
• Full cooker surround or extractor hood — 2 m to 3 m covers the area above and around a standard UK range or freestanding cooker.
• Full kitchen run along one wall — 5 m to 10 m covers a continuous surface without joins, depending on kitchen length.
• Cabinet sides and worktop edges — the 40 cm width fits most standard cabinet heights when applied vertically; trim horizontally for worktop edge use.
• Multiple panels — can be applied side by side for wider coverage. Align edges carefully for a seamless appearance.

• Wipe down with a damp cloth or kitchen paper after cooking to remove oil and grease splatter before it builds up.
• For heavier grease deposits, use a mild kitchen degreaser applied to a cloth — do not spray directly onto the sticker surface.
• Avoid abrasive scourers or steel wool, which will scratch the foil surface and reduce its appearance over time.
• Do not use bleach-based cleaners — these can discolour the foil and degrade the adhesive at the edges.
• Pat dry after cleaning rather than leaving standing water on the surface, particularly at the edges and seams.

• Peel back slowly from one corner at a low angle — pulling at a shallow angle (rather than straight off the wall) significantly reduces the risk of taking paint or tile grout with it.
• In cold conditions, gently warm the foil surface with a hairdryer on a low setting to soften the adhesive and make removal easier and cleaner.
• Any adhesive residue left on the wall can typically be lifted with a small amount of cooking oil or adhesive remover on a soft cloth, followed by a clean with a mild degreaser. Always test in a small area first on painted walls.
• The sticker is designed for a single application — once removed it will not re-adhere reliably. Clean the surface thoroughly and allow it to dry fully before applying a new roll.
• For rental properties: remove the sticker before the end of a tenancy and check your tenancy agreement before making any wall changes.
