The strap is adjusted using the steel buckle — fasten at whichever hole provides a snug but comfortable fit, leaving enough room to slide one finger under the strap without the watch slipping around the wrist during movement.
To shorten the strap, links or strap length can be adjusted using a standard watch tool or taken to a local watch or jewellery shop — most will adjust a watch strap quickly and at low or no cost.
If the strap is slightly too long out of the box, fasten at the tightest available hole initially and have links removed at a later point if needed — it is easier to remove length than to add it.
Avoid fastening the strap too tightly — a watch worn too tight against the skin will feel uncomfortable after a few hours and can leave a mark on the wrist, particularly in warm weather or during physical activity.

30M water resistance (3ATM) means the watch is protected against splashes, rain, and accidental contact with water — washing hands, getting caught in rain, or light spray from a tap are all within its protection range.
Do not wear this watch while swimming, showering, bathing, or in a hot tub — sustained submersion and hot water or steam can compromise the seals and allow moisture to enter the case, which will damage the movement.
Water resistance can degrade over time as seals age — if the watch has been in contact with water and the dial appears foggy or condensation is visible inside the crystal, take it to a watchmaker for assessment rather than continuing to wear it.
Avoid pressing the crown while the watch is near water — the crown is one of the points where water can enter the case, and operating it when wet increases the risk of ingress even within the rated resistance range.

If the watch stops and a battery replacement does not restore function, or if the hands are misaligned, take it to a watchmaker rather than attempting to open the case yourself — opening the case without the correct tools can damage the seals and void any remaining water resistance.
