The shape distributes load across three points, which provides a more stable and spacious platform than a standard two-point hammock for sleeping or sitting.

Choose two or three trees with trunks at least 20–25 cm in diameter — thin or young trees flex significantly under load and may not provide a stable or safe attachment point for a triangular aerial hammock.
Use tree straps (sold separately) wrapped around the trunk before attaching the hammock — direct rope attachment to bark can damage the tree over time, and straps provide a more secure and tree-friendly anchor point. Straps at least 2.5 cm wide are recommended.
The triangular design suspends from three points — read the included instructions carefully for the correct attachment sequence and geometry, as the orientation of the triangle affects how the hammock sits and distributes load when occupied.
Hang the lowest point of the sleeping surface approximately 45–60 cm above the ground for the first setup — this height allows comfortable entry and limits the drop distance if the hammock swings unexpectedly during entry or exit.
Test the setup by applying your full body weight gradually and checking all attachment points before lying down — confirm the mosquito net zips and closes fully before sleeping in insect-active conditions.

Sleep diagonally across the hammock rather than straight along the centreline — a diagonal lying position produces a flatter sleeping surface, which is more comfortable for extended sleep and reduces back strain compared to the curved position that results from lying straight.
In cold conditions, insulation from below is more important than above — a sleeping pad or underquilt placed beneath you inside the hammock addresses the cold air circulating under the fabric, which a sleeping bag alone does not fully address.
Check the mosquito net for any small tears or gaps before use in areas with high mosquito density — a net with even a small gap will allow insects to enter over the course of a night. Carry a small piece of repair tape for field repairs.
Avoid setting up directly over water or in a dry riverbed — water levels can rise overnight and wet conditions beneath the hammock increase condensation inside, even with the net closed.
Pack the hammock loosely in its stuff sack rather than compressing it tightly after use — repeatedly packing very tightly can stress the nylon fibres at the folds over time. A loose pack that fits without force is sufficient for transport.

Shake out and air the hammock after each use — remove any debris from the fabric and mosquito net and allow both to dry fully before packing for storage or transport to prevent mildew developing in the nylon or net mesh.
Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle at low temperature if the hammock becomes dirty — close all zips on the mosquito net before washing to prevent the zip teeth from snagging the net mesh or hammock fabric during the wash cycle.
Air dry only — do not tumble dry or expose to direct heat, which can affect the nylon and reduce its tear resistance and UV stability over time.
Inspect the seams, suspension points, and mosquito net zip after each trip for signs of wear or damage — catching a small seam failure or zip issue early is much easier to address than discovering it at the campsite on the next trip.
Store in a cool, dry location away from prolonged UV exposure when not in use — UV degradation of nylon is cumulative, so storage out of direct sunlight between trips extends the working life of the material.

Green — 280 cm: the most popular choice for solo backpackers — packs smallest, suits tighter woodland pitches, and the green colourway blends naturally into forest and woodland settings. The practical choice when weight and packability matter.
Green — 400 cm: more internal space for taller sleepers, gear storage inside the hammock, or a more relaxed setup — still low-visibility in woodland but requires trees with wider spacing. Good for base-camp or festival use where you stay in one spot.
Black — 280 cm: same compact solo spec as the Green 280, with a lower-visibility aesthetic in low-light conditions and a cleaner look for non-woodland environments such as festivals, parks, or garden setups.
