Light Green
A muted sage-adjacent green that reads as outdoorsy and contemporary rather than sportswear-bold. Works well in campus, creative and outdoor-facing environments. Pairs naturally with neutral and earth-tone clothing.
Milky
A warm off-white with a clean, minimal feel. More visible marks than Black or Light Green on daily use — best for lower-contact environments such as campus or city commutes. Works well in warm seasons against darker clothing.

The most versatile and lowest-maintenance colour. Works in every environment — office, campus, travel and outdoor. The default recommendation for a daily bag that moves between professional and casual contexts.
Laptop compatibility
- The shockproof compartment fits laptops up to 15 inches (screen diagonal). Most 15″ laptops from Apple, Dell, HP, Lenovo, ASUS and Acer will fit. If unsure, check the model number on the underside of the laptop or in the manufacturer’s specifications.
- The compartment accommodates standard-thickness 15″ laptops without a case. If your laptop is in a thick hard shell case, measure the cased laptop against the compartment’s internal dimensions (approximately 29 cm wide × 40 cm tall) before ordering.
- The shockproof lining cushions against the bumps of everyday transit — not drops from height or direct impacts. For a fragile or high-value laptop, add a dedicated sleeve inside the compartment for a second layer of cushioning.
- The laptop compartment has its own separate zip, so the laptop can be retrieved at airport security or from a desk without unpacking the rest of the bag.
- A slim 13″ laptop and a 10″ tablet together will typically fit. A 15″ laptop and a full-size tablet together may be too thick for the compartment to close cleanly.
The shockproof compartment provides padding against transit knocks. For maximum protection, add a dedicated laptop sleeve inside the compartment for a second layer of cushioning.
Packing and carrying — getting the most from 20L
- 20L is a daypack, not an overnight bag — comfortably holds a 15″ laptop, a change of clothes, a water bottle, lunch and daily accessories. For overnight travel, it works best as a personal item alongside a main suitcase.
- Load order — pack the laptop first. Load heavier items (charger, water bottle, books) into the main compartment close to the back panel — keeping the heaviest load near the spine reduces perceived weight on the shoulders. Lighter items go at the front of the main compartment.
- Strap adjustment — adjust the shoulder straps so the bag sits in the middle of the back, not low. The top of the bag should sit approximately at shoulder height. The air cushion system works most effectively when the bag is fitted snugly rather than worn loose.
- Trolley strap — the strap on the back of the bag allows it to be attached to a suitcase or trolley handle for airport or station transit, useful when the bag is fully loaded.
- Overpacking — at full capacity (20L), the bag sits slightly wider than the body silhouette. A bag packed to 15L or less sits closer to the body and is more comfortable in tight spaces such as crowded commuter trains.
Waterproofing — what the 420D twill covers
- The 420D twill washed material has a waterproof treatment that repels rain and light moisture — water beads on the surface and runs off rather than soaking through. This protects contents through a rain shower, a wet commute, or a bag set on a wet surface.
- Keep all zips fully closed in wet conditions. An open zip is the primary water entry point regardless of the outer fabric’s water resistance.
- The waterproofing is a surface treatment and is not submersion-rated. Do not place the bag in standing water or use it as a dry bag for water sports.
- Over time, the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) surface treatment can diminish — particularly at high-friction areas such as strap contact points and the base. If the outer fabric begins to wet out (absorbing rather than beading water), a DWR spray can restore the finish. Apply to a clean, dry exterior and cure per the spray product’s instructions.
In sustained heavy rain, a laptop sleeve inside the shockproof compartment adds a secondary moisture barrier for the laptop and electronics.
Care and maintenance
- Spot clean the exterior with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap. Wipe off soap residue and air-dry fully before use. Do not machine wash — it degrades the waterproof coating and can stress seams and shoulder strap attachment points.
- Clean the nylon lining periodically by turning the bag upside down with all compartments open and shaking out debris. Wipe the interior with a slightly damp cloth and air-dry fully before repacking.
- Clean zip teeth with a dry brush to remove grit and apply zip wax or lubricant to any stiff zip. A regular clean extends zip life significantly on a bag used daily outdoors.
- Wipe the air cushion straps and back panel periodically with a damp cloth to remove sweat and body oils. Accumulated sweat breaks down strap fabric and stitching at the attachment points over time.
- Store the bag upright with the main compartment lightly filled or empty. Do not store under heavy weight or compressed flat — the structured back panel and base will lose their form. If storing for a season, stuff the main compartment lightly to maintain shape.
