Rechargeable battery — charging your devices
- The built-in rechargeable battery has a USB output port, allowing phones, earbuds, smartwatches or any USB-chargeable device to be powered from the case during transit.
- Charge the case battery before use via the charging input port (USB-C or Micro-USB depending on the unit — check the port on your case). Allow a full charge before the first journey.
- The USB output charges external devices from the case. It does not support pass-through charging — charge the case battery separately before use.
Important: most airlines require cases with built-in batteries to travel as cabin hand luggage only. Check your airline’s lithium battery and power bank policy before placing this case in the hold.
Front opening — how it works
- The front-opening panel is a secondary access point on the front face of the case, opening while the case is standing upright — without laying the case flat or fully unpacking to reach a specific item.
- Best used for items needed during transit: a phone charger, a travel adaptor, a document wallet, a light layer. Pack these items near the front panel so they are accessible without disturbing the rest of the packing.
- Use on a stable standing surface — not on a moving trolley or escalator. Ensure the front panel is fully closed and secured before moving the case, particularly in an upright position where an unsecured panel could open and allow items to fall out.
Pull rod phone holder
- The phone holder clips or slides onto the pull rod and holds the phone at a comfortable viewing height while the case is being wheeled. Extend the pull rod to handle height and place the phone in the holder before walking through the airport or station.
- Compatible with most standard smartphones up to approximately 6.7″ screen size. Phones in thick cases may not fit securely — test the fit before use in a crowded transit environment.
- Designed for moving through airports, stations and hotel corridors at walking pace — not for use on escalators, moving walkways, or in circumstances where the phone falling would cause a safety hazard. Always secure the clamp fully before walking.
Colour guide
- Blue — a mid-tone blue that reads as confident and contemporary. Distinctive enough to identify on a baggage carousel without being difficult to pair with travel outfits. Works for both professional travel and leisure.
- Pink — a muted dusty rose rather than a vivid pink. The warmest and most immediately identifiable colour in the range on a baggage carousel. The choice for someone who wants a case that is unmistakably theirs without being loud at close range.
- Green — a sage-to-mid green, distinctive on a carousel and pairs naturally with neutral and warm-tone clothing. The option for someone who wants visual interest without committing to pink or blue.
- Ivory — a warm off-white with a clean, premium feel. Marks and scuffs are more visible than on the other colours — best for careful travellers or those checking luggage rather than using as a carry-on that contacts overhead lockers and aircraft cabins.
Packing, care and maintenance
- Packing — lay the case flat to pack the main compartment. Use packing cubes to maximise space and keep contents organised. Heavy items (shoes, toiletry bags) go at the bottom closest to the wheels; frequently needed items go near the front panel.
- Weight — most airlines apply a hold bag weight limit of 20–23 kg. The case body weight counts toward this allowance. As a general guide, a 24″ trolley case body weight is typically 3–5 kg empty, leaving 15–18 kg for contents at a 20 kg limit.
- Exterior cleaning — wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap after each trip. Pay attention to the base and wheel recesses where dirt accumulates. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents — these can discolour the shell, particularly on Ivory.
- Wheels and handle — clear hair, thread and debris from the wheel axles after each trip. Extend and retract the pull rod periodically to keep the mechanism smooth; apply a small amount of silicone lubricant if it becomes stiff.
- Lining — wipe the polyester lining with a damp cloth. Allow to dry fully with the case open before packing — a damp lining stored closed promotes mildew and odour inside the case.
- Storage — store upright in a cool, dry environment. Do not stack heavy items on top — sustained pressure can deform the shell corners and stress the zip and hinge mechanisms.
