- Ensure the glass surface is dry before application — applying to a wet or damp windshield dilutes the formula and reduces its effectiveness. Wash and dry the glass first if it is dirty.
- Apply the product to the glass surface using the applicator or a clean microfibre cloth — work in small sections to ensure even coverage rather than applying across the full windshield at once.
- Allow the product to work on the glass surface for the recommended dwell time — the formula needs contact time to penetrate and dissolve the oil film layer rather than just sitting on top of it.
- Buff off with a clean, dry microfibre cloth using circular motions — the oil film residue and product will come away together, leaving a clear, streak-free surface.
- Apply to side windows using the same method — the door glass accumulates oil film from the same sources as the windshield and benefits from the same treatment.
- For antifreeze protection, ensure the treatment has been applied and fully buffed before cold weather arrives — the protective layer needs to be present on the glass before temperatures drop to be effective.
Avoid contact with painted surfaces, rubber seals, and plastic trim during application. If contact occurs, wipe off immediately with a clean cloth before the product dries.
