01 No-Drill Installation — Attaches Without Tools or Wall Damage

The free-punching design attaches to any door frame without screws, drills, or adhesive damage — the installation method that makes it suitable for rental properties where wall damage is not permitted, and for anyone who wants a reversible solution that can be moved between doors or removed entirely without leaving a mark. Installation is a matter of minutes and requires no tools beyond basic alignment of the attachment strip.

02 Magnetic Self-Closing — Snaps Shut After Every Pass-Through

Embedded magnets running along the centre split of the curtain snap the two panels back together automatically after every pass-through — the closing mechanism that prevents insects from entering behind you without requiring any manual action. A curtain that relies on the user to close it is a curtain that is frequently left open; the magnetic closure removes that failure mode entirely and keeps the doorway sealed whether the pass-through was intentional or not.

03 Anti-Mosquito Mesh — Insects Out, Fresh Air In

The mesh fabric blocks mosquitoes, flies, and other insects while allowing free airflow through the doorway — the combination that makes it practical in summer when open doors are needed for ventilation but insects are the primary reason doors are kept closed. A closed door solves the insect problem but eliminates ventilation; the screen curtain provides both simultaneously without the cost or installation commitment of a fixed insect screen.

04 3 Sizes × 3 Styles — Fits Any Standard Doorway

Available in 90×210, 100×210, and 110×210 cm to cover the range of standard residential door widths, and in Striped Black, Striped Coffee, and Striped White to suit different interior colour schemes — the size and style range that makes it practical across different rooms and door frames in the same household without requiring a single compromise on fit or appearance.

  • 90×210 cm: the narrowest option — suited to standard interior doors and smaller exterior doorways. Measure the width of the door frame (not the door leaf) at the widest point and select this size if the frame width is 90 cm or below. A curtain that is slightly wider than the frame is always preferable to one that is too narrow, as it overlaps the frame edges and prevents gap at the sides.
  • 100×210 cm: the standard option for most residential exterior doors in the UK and Europe — fits the majority of front door, back door, and patio door openings in a standard terraced or semi-detached house. If in doubt between 90 and 100 cm, choose 100 cm.
  • 110×210 cm: the widest option — suited to wider door openings, double-leaf doorways used as a single opening, or any frame where the 100 cm curtain would not provide sufficient overlap at the sides. Also the best choice for balcony and patio openings where the door frame is wider than a standard interior door.
All three sizes are 210 cm in height — suitable for standard ceiling heights. If the door frame height is significantly below 210 cm, the curtain can be trimmed at the base or folded under without affecting the magnetic closure. Measure the door frame opening, not the door leaf, before selecting a size.
  • Unpack the curtain and identify the attachment strip — a hook-and-loop or adhesive-backed header strip that attaches to the top of the door frame. Clean the door frame surface before attaching to ensure a firm hold; dust and grease reduce the adhesion of the attachment strip.
  • Attach the header strip to the top of the door frame at the desired height — align it so the curtain panels hang centrally in the doorway and the split runs vertically down the centre of the opening. Press firmly along the full length of the strip for a secure bond.
  • Hang the curtain panels from the header strip and check that the magnetic centre split aligns correctly — the magnets should attract across the full height of the split when the panels are brought together. If the split does not close cleanly, adjust the horizontal position of the curtain on the header strip until the magnets align.
  • Test the self-closing action by walking through the curtain and checking that the panels snap back together completely behind you — the closure should be complete with no gap at the centre. If a gap remains, check the magnet alignment and adjust as needed.
  • For patio and balcony use outdoors, ensure the header strip is attached to a sheltered surface above the opening — direct sun and rain exposure will reduce the life of the mesh fabric and the adhesion of the header strip over time.
The no-drill installation is designed for clean, painted, or sealed door frame surfaces. On rough masonry, unpainted wood, or surfaces with heavy texture, the adhesion of the header strip may be reduced — in these cases, a small number of removable adhesive strips or hook-and-loop patches applied to the sides of the frame will reinforce the hold without drilling.
  • Brush or shake loose dust from the mesh fabric periodically — the mesh collects airborne dust, pollen, and debris over time, which reduces airflow through the fabric and can cause the curtain to look dirty even when the door frame area is clean. A gentle shake outside is sufficient for regular maintenance.
  • Spot-clean stains with a damp cloth and mild soap — do not saturate the mesh or soak the magnets, as prolonged moisture exposure can affect both the fabric and the magnetic strength over time. Allow to dry fully before reinstalling.
  • Remove and store the curtain at the end of the summer season if it is used outdoors — UV exposure and winter weather will degrade the mesh fabric and header strip adhesion faster than indoor use. Store folded (not rolled tightly) in a dry location to preserve the fabric and magnet alignment.
  • The magnets are embedded and do not require any maintenance — if the magnetic closure weakens over time, check that no debris has accumulated at the split edge preventing the panels from fully closing, and clean the split edges if needed.
The curtain is designed for seasonal indoor and sheltered outdoor use. Extended outdoor use in exposed locations (direct rain, strong wind) will reduce the product lifespan. For permanent outdoor installation in an exposed location, a fixed insect screen is a more durable long-term solution.
  • Striped Black: the most defined contrast — suits dark door frames, dark interiors, or any room where a neutral dark accent blends naturally. Also the most visually recessive against a dark painted or stained door frame where a light curtain would stand out prominently.
  • Striped Coffee: a warm mid-tone — suits natural wood door frames, warm-toned interiors, or any space with a beige, cream, or timber colour palette. The most versatile choice for traditional or country-style interiors where a stark black or white would feel out of place.
  • Striped White: the lightest option — suits white or light-painted door frames and modern or Scandinavian interiors where a clean, minimal appearance is preferred. Also the best choice for bright rooms where a darker curtain would create a visual contrast at the doorway that the room aesthetic does not support.
All three styles provide the same insect-blocking, airflow, and magnetic self-closing performance — the choice is purely aesthetic. If installing across multiple doors in the same home, choose the style that suits the most prominent or frequently used doorway; the other doors can use a different style if the frame colours differ.
Open Doors. No Insects.

“An open door in summer lets in fresh air and every insect within range — a magnetic screen curtain that snaps shut automatically solves the insect problem without closing the door or drilling a single hole.
