Foot & Calf Massager with Heat Compress.

Kneading and warmth, with a timer that switches itself off.

A plug-in massager that kneads the foot sole and calf and adds a built-in heat compress, with button control, an automatic shut-off timer, and a choice of Grey or Blue. Plug options are US, EU, UK and USB charging. It is a massager rather than a treatment, and heat on the legs is not for everyone. Read the safety section before your first session.

The timer shuts it off for you — but never settle in expecting to fall asleep with it running.
01
Kneading The Sole And The Calf

The massager kneads — mechanical pressure against the foot sole and the calf, rather than vibration against the surface. Pressure you can feel working into a muscle is the point of choosing kneading over a vibrating pad, and it is why the intensity setting is the first thing to get right. Start low; you can always go up mid-session, and you cannot undo a setting that was too much from the start.

02
A Heat Compress, And Why Warmth Carries A Session

A built-in heat compress warms the contact area at the same time as the kneading. Warmth is what makes a session feel like something rather than a chore — it is the reason people reach for a device like this in the evening, and particularly in winter. It is warmth you feel on the skin. It does not improve circulation, it is not a treatment for a circulation problem, and the heat is the part of this device with the real contraindications attached to it.

03
A Timer, Which Is The Safety Feature

It shuts itself off automatically after a set time, and that matters more than the convenience suggests. A heat device on your legs that switches itself off cannot be left running while you doze off in the chair — which is exactly the situation these devices get used in, and exactly the situation where an unattended heated massager is a bad idea. Treat the timer as a backstop rather than as permission: it ends a session you are awake for, and the check that it still cuts out is the one to make before each use.

04
Grey Or Blue, And Your Plug Choice

Available in Grey or Blue, with US, EU, UK plug options and USB charging. One thing to check before ordering for use abroad: a matching plug is not the same thing as a compatible supply. Confirm the voltage where you intend to use it rather than assuming the plug option settles it — it is a mains-powered device used against skin, and the supply is not the place to guess.

FormatMassager — not a medical device

The one thing to be sure of before you buy is how much you can feel in your feet and legs. Kneading and heat are both felt through the skin, so if you have reduced sensation — from diabetes or a neuropathy — check the skin after each session, because a limb that cannot feel pressure cannot warn you that the skin is being worked too hard. Never use it over varicose veins or on broken skin, and switch the heat off if it stops being comfortable.

Which to Choose A foot and calf massager, or a handheld one?

Both knead. They reach different places and demand different things of you.

This Massager
  • Hands-free — sit with your feet in it and let it work
  • Feet and calves together, with a heat compress
  • The timer ends the session for you
  • Mains-powered and bulky, so it lives in one spot at home
A Handheld Massager
  • You control the pressure directly, with your own arm
  • Reaches anywhere — shoulders, back, arms, not just the legs
  • No timer, no heat unless that model has them
  • You are holding it, so a session is not hands-free

Kneading and a heat compress, button control, auto shut-off, Grey or Blue, four plug options — a warm twenty minutes without having to remember to switch it off.

In the Box

Who It’s For

People whose feet and calves ache after long days on them, who want a warm kneading session at home and can feel their feet and legs normally. Not for anyone with the conditions listed in the safety section, and not a treatment for poor circulation or any diagnosed condition.

Safety, Use & Care
  • Ask a healthcare professional before using it if you have a pacemaker or any other implanted electronic device. This is a mains-powered device with a heating element in it, and the sensible position with any powered device used against the body is to check first rather than assume.
  • Ask a healthcare professional before using it if you have a circulatory condition, diabetes, or are pregnant. Heat combined with mechanical kneading is not appropriate for everyone.
  • Do not use it if you have reduced sensation in your feet or legs, including from diabetic neuropathy, without checking with a clinician first. The only signal that the pressure or heat is too much is the feeling in the limb, and reduced sensation removes that signal.
  • Do not use it over varicose veins, over a calf that is hot, swollen and tender, or where a clot is suspected — that needs medical advice rather than warmth and pressure. Also not on broken, inflamed or infected skin, on a foot ulcer, blister or cut, or over a recent injury to the foot, ankle or calf.
  • Do not use it immediately after eating, and stand up slowly afterwards — warmth and a seated position together can leave you briefly light-headed.
  • Start on the lowest intensity, and use the heat on a low setting to begin with. If either stops being comfortable rather than pleasant, reduce it or switch that function off. With heat, comfortable is the setting — not the warmest one you can tolerate.
  • Do not use it while sleeping or drowsy, and do not rely on the timer so that you can fall asleep. The timer is a backstop for a session you are awake for — it is not a licence to doze off with a heated device running.
  • Keep the power cable clear of your feet, ankles and calves while it is running, and route it where nobody can trip over it or catch it when they stand up. A cable running under a device your feet are resting in is a cable that gets caught.
  • Never use it with wet feet, in a bathroom, or anywhere it could be splashed. It is a mains-powered device in contact with skin.
  • Unplug it after every session and never leave it plugged in unattended. Inspect the cable and plug before each use and stop if either is damaged.
  • If you have diabetes, check your feet and lower legs before and after every use for redness, marks or blistering, and stop and seek advice if you find anything.
  • Keep it out of reach of children, and do not let a child use it.
  • This is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition, it is not a treatment for poor circulation, and it is not a substitute for medical assessment of leg pain, swelling or numbness.
Two rules carry most of the safety here, and both are about not relying on the device to warn you: a leg with reduced sensation cannot tell you the heat or pressure is too much, so check the skin instead; and the timer ends a session you are awake for, so it is a backstop rather than permission to fall asleep. Everything else on this list is a setting, a cable or a check you can see to.
  • Sit down and put the massager on a flat surface in front of you, so your feet rest in it comfortably and your calves are supported.
  • Route the cable clear of your feet and out of anyone's path before you sit down, so you are not reaching under a running device to free it later.
  • Start with the kneading on its lowest setting. Get used to the pressure before adding heat, so you know which function you are reacting to.
  • Add the heat compress on a low setting, and turn it up only if the warmth feels pleasant rather than merely hot.
  • Let the timer run and do not override it to extend a session. Its job is to end the session whether or not you are paying attention.
  • Take your feet out and sit for a moment before standing up.
  • Unplug it after each session and let it cool before moving or storing it.
  • Check your feet and lower legs afterwards, especially the soles and heels, and ease the intensity back if you see persistent marking.
The good first session is kneading alone on the lowest setting, heat added only once you know the pressure suits you, and the timer left alone to finish it.
  • Wipe the surfaces with a dry or barely damp cloth after each use. Do not apply water or cleaning products directly to the device, and never immerse it.
  • Do not fold, squash or stack anything on it in storage. Store it flat and dry so the mechanism is not compressed.
  • Keep it away from liquids, and never use it with wet feet or wet hands.
  • Unplug after every session and do not leave it plugged in unattended.
  • Inspect the cable and plug before each use, and stop using the device if the cable is damaged, the plug is loose, or it behaves erratically. Do not attempt a repair.
  • Confirm the voltage where you intend to use it if you are ordering for another country. A matching plug is not proof of a compatible supply, so check the supply itself rather than the plug shape.
  • Do not use it in a bathroom or anywhere it could be splashed, and keep it away from children and pets.
A heated device used on bare skin deserves two habits: dry feet and unplugged when finished. The voltage check is the third, and it is the one people forget when buying across borders.
  • Check the cable and plug every time you set it up. It is the part carrying the current and the part that wears first.
  • Look at the contact surfaces before a session, and stop using it if the lining is split or the mechanism feels loose or noisy.
  • Watch whether the heat still behaves as it did when new. A device running hotter than it used to, or erratically, is one to stop using rather than test again.
  • Check the timer still cuts out. It is the safety feature; if it stops working, the device should not be used until that is resolved.
  • Keep the contact surfaces clean and dry, since residue is the usual reason a session starts to feel different.
  • Store it flat and unplugged, somewhere dry and out of a child's reach.
  • Replace rather than repair it if the mechanism, the heat or the cable fails, and do not attempt to service a mains-powered device used on the skin.
The one check that matters most is the timer — on a heated device, the automatic cut-off is a safety function, not a convenience. If it stops cutting out, stop using it.
