Silver fibre woven into organic cotton at 5% concentration provides the conductivity needed for grounding without the feel of a metallic textile — the sheet sleeps like a quality cotton sheet while the silver fibre does the electrical work. Silver is one of the most conductive materials in the world and is used in grounding products specifically because it maintains conductivity through repeated washing and regular use better than many alternative conductive materials. The organic cotton base means the sheet is breathable and skin-comfortable for all-night contact.

Grounding while you sleep — the most effortless way to earth

Earthing (also called grounding) is the practice of making direct or conductive contact with the earth’s surface to reconnect the body to the earth’s natural electrical field — a field that modern indoor living largely interrupts. Sleeping on a grounding sheet is the most passive and habitual way to practise earthing because it requires no change to routine: you sleep as normal, and the sheet does the connecting. The ground wire connects the sheet to an earthed socket, providing the same electrical reference as direct contact with the ground outside, without needing to go outdoors.

Anti-static & anti-oxidation — a more considered sleep environment

68×132cm — designed for use as a half-sheet, mat, or floor/yoga overlay. Suitable for grounding while seated or lying on the floor during meditation, yoga, or relaxation, or as a partial bed sheet placed under the body from waist to feet on a single bed.
90×230cm — suitable for a UK standard single bed (90cm wide). Used as a full-length fitted or flat sheet, covering the body from head to foot. The most common starting size for those new to sleep grounding.
153×203cm — suitable for a UK standard double bed (135–150cm wide). Provides full-width coverage for one or two people sleeping on a double bed.
193×203cm — suitable for a UK king or super-king bed (150–180cm wide). Full coverage for larger beds and for couples who both want to ground simultaneously on the same sheet.
If between sizes, choose the larger option — grounding sheets work by contact, so more coverage means more effective grounding. Excess sheet can be tucked under the mattress.

Place the sheet on the bed as you would a standard flat sheet or fitted sheet, with the conductive surface facing up (towards the body).
Attach the ground wire to the snap connector on the sheet, then plug the other end of the ground wire into the earth port of a standard UK earthed socket (the round hole at the bottom of a three-pin socket). Do not connect to the live or neutral ports.
Verify the socket is earthed before use — a simple plug-in socket tester (available at most hardware shops for a few pounds) will confirm this. Most modern UK sockets in permanent fixtures are earthed; extension leads vary.
Sleep directly on the sheet with bare skin in contact with the conductive surface — the grounding effect requires skin contact. Sleeping in thin cotton pyjamas significantly reduces conductivity; direct skin contact is most effective.
The sheet can also be used on the floor as a grounding mat during the day — sit or lie directly on it with bare skin or thin cotton clothing while reading, meditating, or resting.

Machine wash on a cool or warm cycle (30–40°C) — avoid hot washes, which can degrade the silver fibre over time and reduce conductivity.
Use a mild, fragrance-free detergent without bleach, fabric softener, or optical brighteners — these chemicals coat the silver fibre and reduce its conductivity. This is the single most important care instruction for maintaining the sheet’s grounding performance long-term.
Do not tumble dry on high heat — air dry or tumble dry on a low heat setting. High heat damages silver fibre in the same way as hot washing.
Do not iron the sheet — high heat from an iron applied directly to the silver fibre can permanently damage the conductive material.
Wash before first use to remove any residue from the manufacturing process — this also softens the cotton base and gives you a baseline feel for the sheet’s texture before regular use.
With proper care (cool washing, no fabric softener, low-heat drying), the silver fibre conductivity is maintained through many wash cycles. Reduced grounding effectiveness over time is most commonly caused by fabric softener build-up rather than the silver fibre wearing out.
