Mount to a structural ceiling beam, solid timber joist, or outdoor branch rated to support your child’s weight plus dynamic swing load — do not mount to plasterboard, thin wood panelling, or any surface that cannot bear concentrated point load.
Attach the included round fixing plate to the mounting point using suitable fixings for the surface material — for ceiling joists use wood screws of appropriate length and gauge; for outdoor use ensure fixings are weather-resistant.
Connect the swing to the fixing plate using the attachment hardware at the top of the hammock — check that all connections are fully seated and secure before allowing a child to use the swing.
Test by applying downward load gradually before full use — sit an adult’s weight into the swing and check for any movement or sound from the mounting point before allowing a child to use it independently.
For indoor use, ensure there is adequate clearance on all sides — the child should be able to swing freely in all directions without reaching walls, furniture, or other hazards.

Recommended for children aged 3 and above — younger children should not use the swing unsupported due to the risk of rolling or slipping out of the hammock during swinging or spinning.
Adult supervision is recommended at all times for younger children — do not leave children under 6 to use the swing unsupervised, particularly during the initial period of learning how to balance and control the swing.

For outdoor installations, bring indoors or cover during extended periods of wet or freezing weather — prolonged moisture exposure can affect the fixing plate and attachment hardware over time.
Check the fixing plate and all attachment points monthly and tighten any loosened fixings — regular inspection is the most important maintenance task for any suspended product used by children.

Gray & Black: the safest choices for unknown or neutral interiors — blend into any bedroom or playroom without drawing attention away from other elements in the space. Also the most practical for outdoor use where fading is a consideration.
