0110″ 1080P FHD IPS Touch Screen — Your Mirror, Upgraded

The 10-inch Full HD 1920×1080 IPS display replaces the standard rearview mirror and shows a live rear camera feed — significantly wider and clearer than a conventional mirror, with a touch screen interface for playback and settings adjustment while parked.

02Dual Lens — Front and Rear Simultaneously

Front and rear lenses record simultaneously — complete coverage from both directions with no blind spots and no gaps in footage, whether an incident happens in front of or behind the vehicle.

03Night Vision Mode — Clear Footage After Dark

Enhanced low-light recording captures legible footage after dark, in underground car parks, or in poor weather — the feature that matters most when a standard camera would produce footage too dark or noisy to be useful as evidence.

04Loop Recording — Always Recording, No File Management

Automatically overwrites the oldest footage when storage is full — set-and-forget operation that means the camera is always ready to capture whatever happens on the road, without requiring the driver to manage files or swap memory cards.

  • Slide the mirror mount brackets over your existing rearview mirror and tighten the rubber straps until the unit is held firmly with no movement — the unit should not shift when the car is in motion or when the touch screen is operated.
  • Route the rear camera cable from the mirror unit along the headlining and down the A-pillar or B-pillar to the rear of the vehicle — use the included cable clips to secure the cable neatly out of sight.
  • Mount the rear camera on the rear windscreen or exterior of the vehicle — position it centrally at a height that captures the full width of the road behind. The rear camera is waterproof and suitable for external mounting.
  • Connect the power cable to the car’s 12V cigarette lighter socket or hardwire to the vehicle’s fuse box for a cleaner installation — hardwiring is recommended if you want the camera to power on automatically with the ignition.
  • Adjust the angle of the front lens so that it captures the road ahead from the driver’s seating position before securing the final mount position.
Professional installation is recommended if routing the rear camera cable through the headlining or hardwiring to the fuse box. Improper cable routing can obstruct airbag deployment pathways.
  • A microSD memory card is required for recording — it is not included. Use a Class 10 or UHS-I rated card for reliable continuous recording at 1080P.
  • Recommended card capacity is 32GB–128GB. Larger cards allow longer footage retention before loop recording overwrites older files.
  • Format the memory card using the in-camera format function before first use — do not format using a computer, as this can create a file system incompatible with the camera’s recording format.
  • Loop recording will automatically delete the oldest 1-minute segment when the card is full — incident-locked files (triggered manually or by the G-sensor) are protected from overwriting.
  • Re-format the card every 1–3 months to maintain read/write performance and prevent recording errors caused by file fragmentation.
A microSD card is not included. Novva Living recommends using a reputable brand card — low-quality cards can cause recording gaps, overheating, or data corruption during continuous use.

Dash cam use is legal in the UK and most European countries. However, there are important rules that apply to how footage is collected, stored, and used.

  • In the UK, dash cam footage that captures identifiable individuals or vehicles in public may be subject to UK GDPR if used for commercial purposes. Private personal use is generally exempt.
  • Some countries require a visible notice informing passengers that recording is taking place — check the rules for any country you are driving through if travelling internationally.
  • Footage can be submitted to the police as evidence of a road traffic incident — contact your local police force for the correct submission procedure in your area.
  • Do not operate the touch screen while the vehicle is in motion — interaction with the device while driving may constitute an offence under UK road traffic law.
Road use laws and data protection regulations vary by country. Always verify the rules applicable to your jurisdiction before using this device. This information does not constitute legal advice.
  • Screen flickers or goes blank while driving: Check the power cable connection at both the unit and the 12V socket — a loose connection is the most common cause. If hardwired, check the fuse on the hardwire kit. Try a different 12V socket if one is available.
  • Camera not recording / “no card” error: Ensure a microSD card is inserted fully and is correctly formatted using the in-camera format function. If the card has been used previously, re-format via camera settings before use. Try a different card if the error persists.
  • Footage has gaps or files are corrupted: Almost always caused by a slow or low-quality microSD card. Replace with a Class 10 or UHS-I rated card from a reputable brand and re-format before use.
  • Rear camera image is not displaying: Check that the rear camera cable is securely connected at both ends. Inspect the cable for any damage along its route. Confirm the rear camera input is enabled in the settings menu.
  • Night vision image is too dark or grainy: Ensure night vision mode is enabled in the settings. Clean the front lens with a soft, dry cloth. Verify the lens is not obstructed by the windscreen sun strip.
  • Unit overheating / powering off in summer: Common when the unit is exposed to direct sunlight through the windscreen on hot days. Park in shade where possible and use a windscreen sun shade when the car is stationary. The unit will restart automatically once it cools to operating temperature.
  • Mirror mount is loose or moving: Re-tighten the rubber mounting straps and ensure they are seated correctly around the original mirror housing. If the mirror has an unusual shape or is very small, wrap the straps with additional rubber shim material for a secure fit.
If an issue persists after following the steps above, contact Novva Living support with your order number and a description of the problem — we will help resolve it.
Mount it. Record it. Drive with confidence.
