Download the companion app for your printer — search for the model name or scan the QR code in the box to find the correct app for iOS or Android. The app is required to print photos and access the full range of print options.
Charge the printer fully before first use using the included USB cable — a full charge ensures the battery is properly conditioned and gives the longest session from the start.
Enable Bluetooth on your phone, open the companion app, and follow the in-app pairing instructions — the printer should appear in the available device list within a few seconds of being powered on.
Load a paper roll by opening the paper compartment, placing the roll with the coated (slightly shiny) side facing down toward the print head, and closing the lid until it clicks.
Print a test page from the app to confirm the connection and paper alignment before your first proper print job.

Thermal paper only prints on the coated side. If prints come out blank, flip the paper roll so the other side faces the print head.

The printer uses 57mm width thermal paper rolls — this is a standard size available from most stationery and office supply retailers as well as online. You are not limited to a proprietary roll or brand.
Thermal rolls print on heat-sensitive paper that produces a standard monochrome print — suitable for photos, notes, receipts, and documents that don’t need to adhere to a surface.
Sticker rolls (included in Option 03 or available separately) are adhesive-backed thermal paper — prints peel away from a backing and can be stuck to surfaces. Ideal for labels, organisation, journalling stickers, and packaging.
Thermal prints are sensitive to heat, direct sunlight, and friction over time — prints used for long-term record keeping or display should be stored away from direct light to maintain print quality.
To replace a roll, open the paper compartment, remove the empty core, and load the new roll with the coated side facing the print head as described in the setup guide above.

Journalling & scrapbooking: Print photos directly from your phone camera roll to stick into journals, planners, and scrapbooks — the 57mm width is a practical size for embellishing spreads without overwhelming the page.
Labels & organisation: Print adhesive labels for storage boxes, jars, folders, and kitchen containers using the sticker roll option — customised labels printed on demand without the need for a full-size label printer.

Battery life: A full charge typically provides enough power for several sessions of regular printing — charge via the included USB cable between uses and store with some charge remaining rather than fully depleted to preserve battery longevity over time.
Print speed: Thermal printing is fast — a standard photo or label prints in seconds. Print quality improves at slower speeds for detailed images; most companion apps allow you to adjust print density and speed to balance quality against time.
Compatible apps: Works with the manufacturer’s companion app (iOS and Android) as well as most Bluetooth thermal printer apps available on both platforms. The companion app gives the best results for photo printing; third-party apps may be more suitable for label templates and text formatting.
Print longevity: Thermal prints are not permanent in the way inkjet prints are — they fade gradually when exposed to heat, direct sunlight, or friction. Keep prints in a notebook, planner, or folder for the longest life. Do not store thermal prints in direct contact with plastic sleeves, which can accelerate fading.
Phone compatibility: Works with any smartphone that supports Bluetooth and can run the companion app — compatible with iPhone (iOS 11 and above) and Android (6.0 and above) in most cases. Check the app store listing for your specific device if unsure.
Print colour: Thermal printing produces monochrome (black on white) prints only — the printer does not support colour printing. Photos print in greyscale; the quality is well-suited to journalling and labelling but not to colour-accurate photo reproduction.

Thermal paper prints cannot be produced in colour. If colour printing is a requirement, this printer is not the right tool for that use case — it is optimised for portable, ink-free, monochrome printing.
