Practical guidance for 30M: wear confidently in rain, during handwashing, and during outdoor sport where water contact is incidental. Remove before swimming, showering, or submerging the watch. Dry after water exposure and avoid pressing the crown while the watch is wet — this can temporarily compromise the water seal.

Miyota quartz movements use a standard button cell battery with a typical lifespan of 2–3 years. When the watch begins running slow or stops, the battery needs replacing.
Battery replacement is available at most watch repair shops and jewellers for a small fee. The specific cell reference is printed on the battery inside the case — a watchmaker can identify and replace it in minutes.
To preserve battery life: avoid storing the watch in extreme heat or cold for extended periods, and avoid strong magnetic fields (speakers, magnetic bag closures) which can interfere with quartz timekeeping temporarily.
Miyota movements are widely serviced and replacement parts are readily available — if a new battery does not resolve issues, or if the crystal is cracked or the crown becomes difficult to operate, take the watch to a watchmaker for assessment.

Steel bracelet sizing: most jewellers can remove links to adjust the bracelet for wrist size. Do not attempt link removal without the correct pin-push tool as the link pins can be damaged.
