01Four-Legged Quad Base — Broader Stability on Any Surface

The four-legged quad base provides four points of contact with the floor rather than one — the configuration that distributes weight more evenly, reduces the risk of the cane slipping on smooth, wet, or uneven surfaces, and provides a stable platform for users who need reliable support when standing or transferring weight. A single-point cane requires the user to maintain balance around a single contact point; a quad base creates a stable zone that the user can lean into with confidence. The stability advantage is most significant on outdoor surfaces, wet floors, and any terrain that is not perfectly level.

02Built-In LED Light — Safe Use in Low-Light Conditions

The built-in LED light illuminates the path ahead in low-light conditions — the feature that makes the cane safe to use at night, in dimly lit corridors, on poorly lit outdoor paths, and in any environment where visibility is reduced. For elderly users who move around the home at night or navigate outdoor spaces in the early morning or evening, the LED removes the need to carry a separate torch and ensures the ground ahead is always visible. Integrated into the cane rather than attached as an accessory, it is always available when needed without a separate battery or charging routine.

03Telescopic Height Adjustment — Personalised Fit for Any User

Telescopic adjustment means the cane can be set to the correct height for the individual user rather than requiring them to adapt their posture to a fixed-length cane — the personalisation that makes the difference between a mobility aid that supports natural posture and one that causes the user to stoop or overreach. The correct cane height allows the elbow to bend at a comfortable angle when the cane is in use, reducing strain on the wrist, elbow, and shoulder over extended periods. The locking mechanism holds the selected height securely during use without slipping.

04Foldable & Lightweight — Easy to Carry and Store

The folding design means the cane collapses to a compact size for storage in a bag, a car boot, or a small space at home — the portability that makes it practical to take on trips, to medical appointments, on public transport, and anywhere else the user needs mobility support away from home. Aluminium alloy construction keeps the weight low without compromising the structural strength needed to support a user’s weight reliably. Light enough to carry without effort, strong enough to trust, and compact enough to store without planning around it.

  • Rotating Quad Base: the base pivots to adapt to uneven terrain, keeping all four feet in contact with the ground on slopes, kerbs, and irregular surfaces. The better choice for anyone who uses the cane primarily outdoors — on pavements, garden paths, gravel, grass, or any surface where the ground is not always level.
  • Fixed Quad Base: the base is rigid and does not move once placed — the better choice for indoor use on flat, level floors where maximum stability and a firm, predictable base are the priority. The preferred option for users who primarily move around the home on level flooring.
  • If you use the cane both indoors and outdoors: the rotating base is the more versatile choice — it performs well on flat indoor surfaces while also adapting to outdoor terrain that a fixed base struggles with.
Both bases are available in Black only. The base type is the only difference between the two variants — all other features (telescopic height, LED light, folding design, aluminium alloy construction) are identical across both options.
  • How to find the correct height: stand upright in normal shoes and let the arms hang naturally at the sides. The top of the cane handle should reach the crease of the wrist — this positions the handle so the elbow bends at approximately 15–20 degrees when the cane is in use.
  • Adjusting the height: extend or retract the telescopic sections to the desired length and engage the locking collar or push-button lock at each section — ensure all locking points are fully engaged before using the cane.
  • Signs the height is wrong: if the user is stooping or leaning toward the cane side, the cane is too short. If the elbow is raised or the shoulder is elevated, the cane is too tall.
  • For shorter or taller users: the telescopic range covers a wide span of user heights. If ordering as a gift and the recipient’s height is not known, the telescopic adjustment means they can set it correctly without returning the product.
Always check that all telescopic locking points are fully engaged before putting weight on the cane. A partially engaged lock can slip under load. If the height changes during use, stop and re-engage all locking points before continuing.
  • Activate the LED via the switch on the cane body — locate it before first use so it can be operated without looking away from the path ahead.
  • Use whenever moving in low-light conditions — at night, in dimly lit corridors, in car parks, on unlit garden paths, or anywhere the floor surface ahead is not clearly visible.
  • Battery replacement: the LED is powered by replaceable batteries — check the battery compartment for the type required. The LED will dim before the batteries fail completely, which is the signal to replace them.
  • Keep the LED lens clean — wipe with a dry cloth if the light output appears reduced and the batteries are not depleted.
The LED is a supplementary safety feature and does not replace adequate ambient lighting. Adding night lights or motion-sensor lights in corridors alongside the cane LED provides the most effective fall-prevention environment.
  • Base type: if unsure of the recipient’s primary use environment, choose the rotating quad base — it performs well both indoors and outdoors.
  • Height: the telescopic adjustment means the recipient can set the correct height for their own body without returning the product. Include a note on the wrist-crease method so they can set it correctly on first use.
  • Suitability: suitable for elderly users, post-surgery recovery, balance support, and anyone who needs stable walking assistance. The quad base provides more stability than a standard single-tip cane.
  • Portability: folds compactly for storage in a bag or car boot — practical for a recipient who travels or attends regular appointments.
This cane is a mobility aid, not a medical device. For users with significant mobility impairment or balance disorders, a physiotherapist or occupational therapist should be consulted before purchase.
Stable. Light. Visible.

“A standard cane offers a single contact point that can slip on uneven ground and provides no visibility in the dark — a folding aluminium quad-base cane with a built-in LED light addresses all three limitations in a single portable device.
