Faucet Water Purifier.

The GX-KR-01 faucet water purifier screws directly onto a standard horizontal kitchen tap and filters tap water through a 5-stage mesh system — removing sediment, chlorine, and impurities before every glass. No tools required, no plumber needed, and no bottles to buy. 1,500L filter capacity per element. Available as a full unit or as a replacement filter element.

015-Stage Filtration — Cleaner, Better-Tasting Tap Water

The GX-KR-01 filters tap water through a 5-stage mesh system that removes the visible and invisible contaminants that affect the taste, clarity, and safety of tap water — sediment, rust particles, chlorine, and general impurities that pass through standard mains water infrastructure before reaching the tap. The result is water that tastes cleaner and is more pleasant to drink straight from the tap, without the cost of bottled water or the bulk of a countertop filter system. The filter works on every draw, so every glass, every cup of tea, and every pot of food cooked with tap water benefits from the same level of filtration.

021,500L Capacity — Months of Filtered Water Per Element

Each filter element has a capacity of 1,500 litres before replacement is needed — at average household usage of 2–4 litres of drinking and cooking water per day, that represents several months of use from a single element. The long service life makes the running cost per litre of filtered water significantly lower than bottled water, and the replacement element is available to purchase separately so the full unit does not need to be replaced when the filter reaches capacity. The filter element is designed to be changed quickly without tools, keeping the ongoing maintenance of the system straightforward.

03Tool-Free Installation — Fitted in Minutes, No Plumber Required

The GX-KR-01 is designed to fit standard horizontal kitchen faucets and installs by screwing directly onto the tap outlet — no tools, no drilling, no professional installation required. The process takes a few minutes, and the purifier can be removed and reattached just as easily, which makes it practical for renters or for users who want to move it between taps. Adapters are included to cover the most common standard faucet thread sizes, and the unit switches between filtered and unfiltered modes to allow normal tap use for tasks where filtration is not needed, such as washing dishes or rinsing produce.

04Replacement Filter Available — Cost-Effective Long-Term Use

When the filter element reaches its 1,500L capacity, only the filter element needs to be replaced — not the full unit. The replacement element is available to purchase separately at a lower cost than buying a new purifier, which makes the long-term running cost of the system significantly more economical. The ability to replace just the element also reduces waste compared to disposable filter systems where the entire unit is discarded after use. For households that commit to the system, the combination of the full unit purchase and periodic element replacement represents a cost-effective, low-maintenance alternative to both bottled water and more complex under-sink filtration systems.

In the Box1 × Faucet Water Purifier (GX-KR-01) or 1 × Replacement Filter Element
  • Check that your faucet is a standard horizontal kitchen tap. The GX-KR-01 is designed for horizontal faucets — it is not suitable for pull-out faucets, spray heads, or faucets with non-standard thread sizes outside the included adapters.
  • Remove any existing aerator from the end of the tap outlet by unscrewing it by hand or with a cloth for grip. Keep the aerator in case you wish to remove the purifier and restore the tap to its original configuration later.
  • Select the correct adapter from those included in the box to match your faucet thread type. The adapters cover the most common standard sizes.
  • Screw the purifier unit onto the faucet outlet with the selected adapter. Hand-tight is sufficient — do not over-tighten, as this can damage the thread or the adapter.
  • Turn on the tap and check for leaks around the connection point. If water escapes at the join, tighten slightly or re-seat the adapter.
  • Switch the purifier to filtered mode for drinking and cooking water. Switch to unfiltered mode for tasks that do not require filtration, such as washing dishes, to preserve filter life.
Not compatible with pull-out faucets, sensor faucets, or faucets with non-removable aerators. If your tap has a fixed, non-removable outlet, the purifier cannot be installed without modification.
  • Full Unit: includes the purifier housing, all adapters, and a filter element installed and ready to use. Choose this if you are buying the GX-KR-01 for the first time and do not already own the unit.
  • Filter Element (Replacement): the filter element only, without the housing or adapters. Choose this if you already own the GX-KR-01 full unit and the existing filter element has reached its 1,500L capacity and needs to be replaced.
  • To check whether your existing filter element needs replacing: track the volume of water used since the last replacement, or monitor for a noticeable reduction in flow rate or a return of taste/odour issues, which indicate that the filter is saturated and no longer filtering effectively.
  • Turn off the tap before removing the filter element to avoid water spillage.
  • Unscrew or release the filter housing according to the mechanism on your unit — most models twist open without tools.
  • Remove the spent filter element and dispose of it responsibly. The element is a consumable and should not be cleaned and reused beyond its rated capacity.
  • Insert the new replacement element, ensuring it seats correctly in the housing. An incorrectly seated element will allow unfiltered water to bypass the filter media.
  • Reassemble the housing and reattach to the faucet. Run water through the filter for 30–60 seconds before use to flush any loose particles from the new element.
Replace the filter element every 1,500 litres or when you notice reduced flow rate, changes in taste, or odour returning to the filtered water. Do not wait until filtration fails completely.
  • Sediment: fine particles of sand, rust, and dirt that enter tap water through ageing pipes and infrastructure. Sediment affects the clarity and taste of water and can accumulate in kettles and appliances over time.
  • Chlorine: added to mains water as a disinfectant. While safe at the levels used in treated water, chlorine is the primary cause of the taste and odour that makes tap water less pleasant to drink directly. Removing it significantly improves the drinking experience.
  • General impurities: the 5-stage mesh captures a range of particulate matter and contaminants that pass through standard mains treatment before reaching household taps.
The GX-KR-01 is a point-of-use mechanical and activated filtration system. It is not a water softener and does not remove dissolved minerals (hardness), heavy metals, or biological contaminants. For areas with specific water quality concerns beyond taste and sediment, consult a water treatment specialist.
