The dedicated aromatherapy sheet slot allows a scented sheet or pad to be placed in the airflow path, so the air distributed by the purifier carries the chosen fragrance into the room as it circulates. The combined effect of physical filtration and ion emission produces a more consistent air quality improvement than either approach alone: the HEPA filter addresses the particle load in the recirculated air, and the ion emission provides ongoing treatment of newly introduced particles and odour molecules in the room air between filter passes. The USB power supply means the Gen 2 draws power from any USB port — a laptop, a USB desk adapter, a monitor hub, or a standard USB wall adapter — without requiring a dedicated mains socket positioned near the desk or bedside. For desk use where mains sockets are occupied by monitor, laptop, and peripherals, or for bedside use where a mains socket near the bed is unavailable or inconvenient, USB power is a practical advantage over mains-powered purifiers.
