Wipe the leather strap with a dry soft cloth after wear to remove surface moisture and skin oils — moisture is the primary cause of leather degradation over time, and regular drying significantly extends strap life.
Avoid getting the leather strap wet where possible — while the watch case is waterproof to 30M, leather straps are not water-resistant and sustained contact with water will cause the leather to stiffen, crack, or discolour. Remove before swimming, showering, or heavy rain exposure.

Do not submerge — swimming, showering, and bathing are not covered by 30M water resistance, and sustained submersion can allow moisture into the case and damage the movement.
Note that the leather strap should be kept away from prolonged water contact even when the case is water-resistant — the strap water tolerance is significantly lower than the case rating.
If fogging appears inside the crystal, take the watch to a watchmaker promptly — moisture inside the case will damage the movement if left unaddressed.
The quartz battery typically lasts 1–2 years — the second hand jumping in two-second intervals is the standard indicator. Any jeweller or watch shop can replace it quickly and at low cost.
