Clean the surface thoroughly before applying — remove all dust, grease, moisture, and residue. The nano gel bonds to the surface itself, and any contamination will significantly reduce hold strength.
Cut to length with scissors before removing the backing liner — do not tear, which can stretch or distort the gel layer and reduce contact area.
Peel back the liner and press the tape firmly onto the first surface, applying even pressure across the full length and holding for 10–15 seconds. Do not stretch the tape as you apply it.
Remove the second liner, then press the object being mounted firmly against the tape — apply even pressure across the contact area and hold for 10–15 seconds before releasing.
Allow 30–60 minutes before placing any load on the tape. First-time adhesion is strongest — avoid adjusting the mounted object immediately after application.

The tape performs best on smooth, non-porous surfaces. On textured, matte-painted, or rough surfaces, adhesion will be reduced. Test on a small inconspicuous area first if you are unsure about surface compatibility.

When the tape no longer holds as firmly, this is almost always caused by dust, lint, or oils on the gel face — not by the gel losing its adhesive properties.
Rinse the gel face under clean running water for 10–20 seconds, gently rubbing with a clean fingertip to remove any visible debris. Do not use soap, detergent, or any cleaning agent.
Shake off excess water and lay gel-side up on a clean, lint-free surface to air dry — do not pat dry with a cloth or paper towel, which deposits fibres onto the gel face. Allow 10–20 minutes at room temperature.
Once dry, the gel face should feel tacky again and be ready for reuse. If adhesion does not restore, check that the application surface is clean and smooth.

Water only — no soap, solvents, or alcohol. Soap residue is one of the most common causes of permanently reduced adhesion in nano gel tapes.

Peel back slowly at a low angle — as close to parallel with the surface as possible rather than pulling straight outward. A slow, low-angle peel prevents paint lifting on painted walls.
If the tape feels resistant, warm it gently with a hairdryer on a low setting for 10–15 seconds to soften the gel slightly, then peel slowly again.
On painted walls, always peel slowly at a shallow angle. Test on a hidden area first if you are uncertain. Very old or poorly bonded paint may lift regardless of tape type.
If any gel residue remains after removal, press a fresh piece of tape lightly against it and peel away — gel picks up gel more effectively than any solvent or scraping tool.

Heavy loads — designed for lightweight mounting: cables, hooks, photos, small decorations. Not rated for heavy shelving, mirrors, or items where a fall would cause injury or significant damage.
Outdoor or wet environments — prolonged exposure to rain, direct sun, or extreme temperature changes will degrade adhesion. For indoor use on dry surfaces only.
Rough or heavily textured surfaces — the gel requires a smooth contact surface. On rough textures, only high points make contact, significantly reducing hold strength.
Fabric, foam, and carpet — porous and flexible materials do not provide a stable bonding surface.
Silicone-coated or non-stick surfaces — the gel cannot bond to surfaces specifically designed to resist adhesion.

When in doubt, test with a small piece and a representative weight before committing the full run of tape to the application.
