01Punch-Free Installation — No Drilling, No Damage

The adhesive or clamp mount attaches to the underside of any desk without drilling, screwing, or leaving permanent marks — suitable for rented offices, rented flats, and any workspace where drilling is not permitted or desirable. Repositionable and removable without damage.

02Holds Power Strips — Plugs Off the Floor and Within Reach

Designed to hold a standard power strip securely under the desk surface — keeping plugs accessible without placing them on the floor where they collect dust, create a trip hazard, or get kicked loose. Easy to reach for plugging and unplugging without bending to the floor.

03Under-Desk Design — Cables Hidden Completely Out of Sight

Mounts under the desk to remove the power strip and cables from the visible surface entirely — eliminating visual clutter and giving the workspace a cleaner, more professional appearance without cable sleeves, trunking, or additional cable management products.

04White or Black — Blends With Any Desk Setup

Matches the colour of the desk surface or existing equipment — disappears into the underside of a light desk or a dark gaming setup rather than standing out as a visible addition.

In the Box1 × Cable Management Rack & Socket Organiser
  • Clean the underside of your desk with a dry cloth before mounting — remove any dust, grease, or residue to ensure the adhesive bonds properly.
  • For adhesive mounting: peel the backing from the adhesive pad, press the rack firmly against the underside of the desk, and hold for 30 seconds. Allow 24 hours before loading the rack with the power strip.
  • For clamp mounting: position the rack and tighten the clamp brackets against the desk edge — check they are secure before placing any items inside.
  • Route cables through the side slots before placing the power strip inside the rack — this keeps the cable exit points tidy and avoids cables pinching under the power strip body.
  • Check the rack is level before the adhesive sets. A spirit level or phone level app is helpful if the desk surface has a slight angle.
Adhesive strength depends on surface type. The adhesive performs best on smooth, non-porous surfaces such as laminate, lacquered wood, and metal. Rough, textured, or painted surfaces may require the clamp mount option for a secure hold.
  • The rack is 40cm long and 12cm deep — it accommodates most standard UK and EU power strips up to approximately 38cm in length. Measure your power strip before purchasing if it is unusually long or wide.
  • Compatible with desks that have a flat underside with at least 10cm of clearance between the desk surface and the top of the rack — check your desk clearance before mounting if the desk has a frame, support rail, or drawer unit close to the intended mounting position.
  • The cable slots on the front face accommodate cables up to approximately 8mm in diameter — suitable for most standard mains cables and USB charging cables.
  • Not suitable for desks with a curved or heavily textured underside when using the adhesive mount — use the clamp option in these cases.
  • To remove the adhesive-mounted rack, gently slide a thin flat tool (such as a credit card or plastic scraper) between the adhesive pad and the desk surface — do not pull the rack downward sharply as this can damage the desk finish.
  • Warm the adhesive slightly with a hairdryer on a low setting before removal to soften the bond and reduce the risk of surface damage.
  • Remove any remaining adhesive residue from the desk surface with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol on a soft cloth — test in an inconspicuous area first on painted or varnished surfaces.
  • The rack can be repositioned using a fresh adhesive pad — replacement pads are widely available as standard double-sided foam tape in the same dimensions.
Always test adhesive removal on a small, hidden area of your desk surface first. Novva Living accepts no responsibility for surface damage caused by improper removal.
  • Route all cables before placing the power strip into the rack — feed each cable through the relevant slot first, then slide the power strip into position. Trying to route cables after the strip is in place is significantly harder.
  • Group cables by destination before routing: monitor cables together, PC cables together, charging cables together — this makes future changes easier and prevents the bundle from tangling over time.
  • Use cable ties or velcro straps to bundle cables that travel together along the same path from the rack to the device — a single neat bundle is far easier to manage than individual loose cables.
  • For standing desks, leave a generous loop of slack in cables that need to travel with the desk as it raises and lowers — a loop of 20–30cm is usually sufficient for a full height range without cables pulling taut at the top position.
  • Label cables at the rack end with small cable tags or coloured tape if you have multiple similar-looking leads — this saves time when you need to unplug a specific device without tracing the cable back to the device end.
  • Position the rack directly below where the most-used sockets will be needed — this minimises cable length between the power strip and the devices it powers, keeping runs short and tidy.
For a completely cable-free desk surface, combine the rack with adhesive cable clips along the desk legs or frame to keep vertical cable runs flat against the structure and out of sight from the front.
Clean desk. Clean mind.
